Barbara Joyce Vann, 72, formally of Lawson, passed away Monday, September 24, 2012 at the Ashton Court in Liberty, MO. Mrs. Vann was born on April 15, 1940, the daughter of Vernie and Mamie (Brown) Walters.
Barbara married LeRoy Vann on September 20, 1975, in Kansas City. LeRoy preceded her in death on September 15, 1996.
Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Callison of Rayville, MO; and Kim Woodring of Kearney, MO; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, LeRoy, Barbara was preceded in death by three brothers, Jerry Walters, Jerrell Walters and Tony Walters, and one sister, Ima Ballard.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, September 27, 2012 at the Lawson Cemetery. Arrangements through Polley Funeral Home, Lawson, MO.
