Jacob H. Fonda.
Jacob H. Fonda, 83, died yesterday
afternoon at 3 o'clock at his home, 31
Pine street, of paralysis, following a
stroke nine months ago. Mr. Fonda was
born in the town of Perth and followed
the occupation of farming up to six
years ago, when he retired and since
made his hhme with his sons in Schenectady
and Amsterdam. He was a
member of the First Methodist church
of this city. He is survived by two sons,
William of this city and Frank of Schenectady,
three grandchildren, Mrs. Don-
ald Butter of Trenton. N. J, Ethel and
Robert Fonda of this city. The funeral
services will be held at the home tomorrow
afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment
will be in the Pine Grove cemetery,
Tribes Hill.
