Embry and Virginia Baker Embry. He was a member of the Ironworker's Local 103, Evansville, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Kathy Cornwell. He enjoyed playing poker and he was a collector.
Surviving are his children, Jeffery Embry and fiancé, Aimee of Owensboro, KY., Amanda Embry(Chester)Downs of Evansville, Indiana, Mary Embry(Jason)Phipps of Owensboro.
Also surviving are his grandchildren, Julissa Embry, George Embry, Angel Elliott, Elysha Embry, Donavin Sanders, Madison Embry, Wendell Embry, Savannah Raymer, April Embry and Stephen Embry Jr. His siblings, Patty Embry of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Edith(Gardiner)Daniel of Hartford, KY., Donna Embry of Oklahoma City, OK., Linda(Frank)Hayden of Owensboro, KY., and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 2:00pm. Friday, September 28, 2012 at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home. Visitation at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home from 4:00 to 8:00pm. Thursday and from 10:00 to 2:00pm. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
