Mary Jane Gardner, 78, of Triangle, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2012.

Mrs. Gardner was a lifetime resident of Triangle. She was loved by many and will be missed by many. She graduated from Occoquan High School in 1951. She was Homecoming Queen and Miss Occoquan.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Billy R. Gardner; daughter Sharon Kay Gardner; brother, Lester Abel; sisters-in-law, Lois and her husband Jerry Brewer, Patsy Gardner and Virginia Gardner; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends who will miss her dearly; especially her sweet Kaitlyn.

She was the daughter of Lester and Margaret Abel. She was also preceded in death by her sister Brenda Abel.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 27 at Covenant Funeral Service, Stafford Chapel with a visitation one hour prior.

Burial will follow in Dumfries Cemetery.
