Mary Jane Anderson, 81, of South Mountain, Pa., died Saturday, May 7, 2011, at Waynesboro Hospital.
She was born March 22, 1930, in Cumberland County, the daughter of Fred L. and Alda M. Lehman Burkholder.
Mrs. Anderson is preceded in death by her husband, Dale W. Anderson.
She was a member of Mt. Rock Church of God, Newville.
She is survived by three sons, Dave Anderson and his wife Gloria of Newville, Charles Anderson of Ft. Littleton and John Anderson and wife Joyce of Newville; three grandsons, Joshua, Johnny and Gary Anderson; and three brothers, Fred Burkholder of Mechanicsburg and Ray and Lee, both of Newville. She is preceded in death by one sister, Edith Derr, and three brothers, Ed, Carl and Earl Burkholder.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 11, at Egger Funeral Home Inc., 15 Big Spring Ave., Newville. Burial will follow in Blain Cemetery, Blain
