Diana Marie Westover 56, of St. Joseph, Mo., passed away at her home Thursday, Jan. 11, 2007.
She was born July 7, 1950, at Spokane, Wash.
Diana retired from the United States District Court in Kansas City, Kan., as a computer specialist.
She was loved by her family and will be missed. She was a Christian.
Diana was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Taylor; and a daughter, Rita Westover .
She is survived by her children, Bigg "BJ" Westover and Lori Westover ; her father, Hershel L. Taylor Sr. of St. Joseph; a brother, Hershel L. Taylor II of Portales, N.M.; seven sisters, Patricia Shinouskis of Lawrenceville, Ga.; Jeanette Fowler of Loganville, Ga.; Karen Brown of Topeka, Kan.; Theresa Beres of Portales, N.M.; Sharon Mayes of Sacramento, Calif.; Connie Taylor of St. Joseph; and Linda Waters of Grayson, Ga.; and three grandchildren.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Rupp Funeral Home, St. Joseph. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Bethel Cemetery, DeKalb, Mo.
