Henry H Buxton was born June 26 1802 in Salem Massachusetts. He was the eldest child born to Joseph and Hannah (Frye) Buxton. He married Deborah B Saltmarsh on October 18,1827 they had the following children: Elizabeth, Charles, Seth,Caroline,and George. After the death of Deborah(1841) Mr. Buxton married Mary Choate (née Jeffs) of Lynn Massachusetts on March 24,1844 in Salem Massachusetts. They had the following children William Augustus Buxton(died in 1846) Edward Hale Buxton, Simon A Buxton and Mary Buxton (died in 1858). Henry Buxton’s occupation: tanner. Henry joined the Freemasons Essex Lodge on 11-7-1826. He died in Taunton at age 56.
