AMERICAN FALLS--Ralph T. Pierce, 62, died Saturday at Bannock Memorial Hospital in Pocatello following an illness.
Mr. Pierce was born in Salem, Utah, May 24, 1912, a son of Angus T. and Chana Broadbent Pierce. He was raised and educated in Salem. He married Grace Carr, January 31, 1930, in Nephi, Utah. They came to Aberdeen in 1931 where they farmed. Mrs. Pierce died in August of 1965. Mr. Pierce later married Eunice Merrill in St. George, Utah.
He was a member of the LDS Church, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the American Legion.
Survivors include his widow; his mother, Mrs. Chana Hansen; children, Mrs. Robert (Joan) Valentine, Mrs. Glen (Chana) Allred, Mrs. Tom (Sandy) Walker and George Pierce, and Grace, Jackie, and Joy Pierce, eight sisters, one brother and 11 grandchildren.
