Mother: Catherine Jane Coffee, born in Missouri
Charles Thomas Snyder, a resident of Wyoming since childhood, was fatally injured last Friday morning in a pedestrian-automobile accident. He was the son of John W. Snyder and Catherine Jane Coffey Snyder. Captain Snyder and his brothers were prominent cattlemen in Texas and they had acquired large holdings in Wyoming. Charles came with his parents to Cheyenne in the seventies and with the exception of a few years spent in Texas and Mexico, this state has been his home. He attended the Cheyenne public schools and Fort Morgan Military Academy in Chicago. On July 15, 1906, he was united in marriage to Miss Elsie May Seaney at Arnold, Neb. A daughter, Catherine, was born to this union, who, with her mother, survives. He is survived also by two brothers and three sisters, T. A. Snyder of Harrison, Neb., D. F. Snyder of Port Arthur, Tex., Mrs. C. A. Wilcox of Austin, Tex., Mrs. D. T. Simmons of Ft. Worth, Tex. and Mrs. Dudley Whitcomb of Corsianna, Tex., Mr. and Mrs. T. A. (rest of name unreadable).
