She is survived by her children, Leila M. Jackson, Miami, Fla.; Earlean (James) Lewis, and Eddie J. (Gloria) Jackson, both of Florida; 2 sisters, Rosa Lee Davis, Statesboro, Ga. and Arabelle Sherfield, Hollywood, Fla.; brothers, Frank "Sonny" Owens Jr., Bennie (Ollie) Owens, and Charlie (Naomi) Owens, all of Statesboro, Ga.; Joseph (Pinkie) Owens, Tyree Owens, Bobby Owens, all of Hollywood, Fla. and Harvey (Dollie) Owens, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; 15 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Mae Owens-Roberts will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, April 7, 2007 at the Original First African Baptist Church with the Rev. Frankie Owens Sr. officiating. Burial will be in the Eastside Cemetery. Final rites entrusted to Hill's Mortuary Inc.
