William G. Fausnacht, 81, 908 Mt. Zion Rd., died yesterday afternoon in the Lebanon Valley General Hospital, where he had been a patient for two weeks, after suffering a massive stroke at his farm. He was a native of Campbelltown, a son of the late Henry S. and Sarah Gerberich Fausnacht. He was the husband of the late Anna Mae Eyer Fausnacht, who died March 15, 1970. Fausnacht farmed in the Fontana and South Lebanon area all his life and for 20 years served as the farming superintendent for the Lebanon VA Hospital. He was a member of the First Evangelical Congregational Church, Lebanon, and the Men’s Bible Class of the church. He was a former trustee and Sunday school teacher at the Lawn EC Church. Fausnacht was a chaplain for the Kimmerlings Grange was a member of the Pomona Grange. He is survived by for sons: William Jr., Palmyra; John Henry, Elizabethtown RD 3; Harold L. and Roger L., both of Lebanon; three daughters, Sarah, wife of Alvin C. Gruber, Palmyra; Doris, wife of George L. Bowman, Lebanon RD 4, and Christine, wife of Melvin Stauffer, Virginia Beach, Va.; 19 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, and a sister Mrs. Violet Bleistine, Palmyra.

Services were held this afternoon in the Rothermel Funeral Home, Palmyra for William G. Fausnacht, husband of the late Anna M. Eyer Fausnacht, 908 Mt. Zion Road, Lebanon. The Rev. L. Dallas Zeigler, cal Congregation Church, officiated. Interment was in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra. Pallbearers were, John, Michael, Donald, and Kenneth Fausnacht, and Melvin and Larry Stauffer, all grandsons of the deceased.
