Services for Aubrey "Boots" Watson will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2008 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville with Reverend Chad Daniel and Reverend Jimmy Koonce officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be Tuesday at Hixson Brothers, Pineville from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 8 a.m. until service time.

Mr. Watson, 92, of Ball passed away Saturday, November 29, 2008 at Woodshaven Nursing Center.

Mr. Watson was a member of Homewood Baptist Church. He was employed by Holsum Bakery for over 35 years in sales and supervision and after his retirement he owned and operated Watson Mercantile. Mr. Watson was a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army during World War II.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Audrey Reed Watson; daughter, Fran Watson Daniel; parents, Odus and Ola Watson; brothers, Paul Watson, Lewell Watson, Dewey Watson and Melvin Watson; and his sisters, Dorothy Watson Walker and Imogene Watson Gauthier.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Catherine Watson, brother, Ted Watson; step-daughters, Carolyn Lemmons Bolen and husband, Cliff, Barbara Lemmons Rogenmoser and husband, Robby; grandchildren, Reverend Chad Daniel and wife, Shay, Cambra Daniel Bangham and husband, Cliff, Kerry Daniel, Bo Bolen and wife, Crickett, Britt Bolen and wife, Melissa, Justin Rogenmoser and wife, Sarah, David Rogenmoser and wife, Sarah, David Rogenmoser, Ryan Rogenmoser and Caitlin Rogenmoser. He also had 10 great-grandchildren.
