༻✿ Arizona Dallas Powell was the toddler son of William and Cora Heare Powell, born May 13, 1901 at home in Selma, Ohio.
My Gr-Aunt Meriel (Lowe), his sister, said that Arizona would sit in the sunlight and play with the beams of light as he watched the shadows of his fingers dance across the floor. She said he looked like an angel sitting in the sunlight with his blonde curls glistening as the light filtered through the window.
Arizona passed August 1902 when he was about 1 year, 3 months old. He died in his sleep due to unknown causes, likely SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome).

Arizona's headstone has a carved life-like lamb sitting on top and his grave is placed near the road. Rest in the peace and love of God, little Gr-Uncle Arizona, and may the angels ever watch over you.
