Charley Ebersold was born at St. Jacobs, Ill., Oct. 20, 1877, and passed away Dec. 30, 1944. He moved to Missouri at the age of 19 and located near Clever where he was a prominent farmer for 44 years. He was united in marriage to Miss Maude Angus May 6, 1900 and to this union were born three children. Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Grace Honsinger; two sons, Alfred of Springfield and George of Independence, Mo.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Albena Phuse of St. Louis and Mrs. Amelia Dahms of California; one brother, George of Billings. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in the Maples Funeral Home chapel conducted by Rev. Lynn Swadley of Springfield. Burial was made in the Smart cemetery.
