Howard William "Hobbs" Herchelroth, 67, of Harrisonburg R2, Va., formerly of Manheim, died Monday home after a sudden illness. He was a mechanic at Clark Filter for 17 years. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Charles and Frances Zook Herchelroth. He served in the U.S. Nay during World War II. Surviving are a daughter, Sheri Henry of Harrisonburg; a son, Howard William Jr. of Hollywood, Fla.; and seven grandchildren. (Lancaster New Era - Jan 20, 1995)
