William Franklin McFarland, Sr., 67, of Front Royal died Monday morning in his home.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 6 at 1:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Wampler and Rev. Andrew Dixon. Burial will follow in Culpeper National Cemetery with full military honors.
Mr. McFarland was born May 17, 1928, in Culpeper, son of Henry and Beulah Tutwiler McFarland. He was a retired restaurant owner and was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Sealock McFarland, a daughter Theresa McFarland of Front Royal, a son Frankie McFarland of Franklin, two sisters Hazel Delph of Culpeper and Dorothy Wahle of Beckley, WV, two grandchildren Jason McFarland of Franklin and Shelby McFarland of Front Royal.
Pallbearers will be Ronald Donovan, Richard McFarland, William Scott, Paul Forrester, Russell Bailey, and Robert Hamm.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday 7-9 p.m at the funeral home.
