Austro-Hungarian immigrant of Slovak descent, arriving at the port of New York October 26, 1899 after departing from Bremen, Germany aboard the steamship "Lahn" nine days earlier. Final destination, per passenger manifest, was Leisenring, Pennsylvania to visit her brother-in-law. Four days after arriving, though, her sister Maria married Joseph J. Stracka in McKees Rocks, Pittsburgh, PA—the place Anna would settle for the rest of her life. Spouse of Austro-Hungarian immigrant John Fyfitch, marrying in Pittsburgh on April 22, 1901. Five sons. Died at home, 67, of a coronary occlusion per death certificate.
