Memorial services for Gale Denise Roe-Shivers will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, at Trinity Bible Church in Powell with Don Thomas and Doug Siggins officiating. Cremation has taken place.
Gale died Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012 at Powell Valley Hospital. She was 48.
Gale was born on July 4, 1963 in Coshocton, Ohio to Mary Carol (Miller) and Dale Roe. She graduated high school in Newcomerstown, Ohio in 1981. She lived in Ohio and Wyoming.
Gale enjoyed beading and various crafts. But most of all, Gale enjoyed spending time with her daughter, Carol, and watching her activities, as well as time spent with her special friend, Bob. She adored her animals. Every child she came in contact with was quickly a friend and she was always there for family and friends. Her family appreciates all those who assisted Gale during her years of fragile health. She will be missed by many.
Gale was preceded in death by her father, Dale Roe.
She is survived by her daughter Carol Roe of Powell; special friend, Bob Williamson of Powell; mother Mary Roe of Basin; brothers Chris (Marilyn) Roe of Newcomerstown, Ohio and Shawn (Laurie) Roe of Olathe, Ohio, sisters Beth (Tim) Brown of Huntsville, Mo., and Jennifer Larson of Basin; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials may be sent to Trinity Bible Church, 507 North Clark St., Powell, WY 82435 for the benefit of Gale's daughter, Carol Roe.
