She was born April 21, 1902, at Moscow, to John and Mary Eliza Rogers Heick. She attended school at Moscow.
She and Pearley Childers Sr. were married Sept. 29, 1920, at Moscow. He was employed with the city and worked for several years as the sexton of the Moscow Cemetery. She was a homemaker all her life.
Her husband died in June 1982. She had resided at the nursing home for the past three years.
She was a member of the Royal Neighbors and the Moscow Mountain Club. Among her hobbies were crocheting and reading.

Four sons, two grandchildren, a brother and three sisters died previously.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Moscow Cemetery. Short's Funeral Chapel of Moscow is in charge of arrangements.
The family suggests memorials be contributions to Latah Care Center.
