From the book, "Memories", by her father R H Barwick:
"Just one week from he day on which she was baptized she was taken with Typhoid fever, and after an illness of twenty-seven days, passed away to the great beyond. Our hearts were crushed beyond descri ption......We buried her in the same little white dress in which she had been baptized just a month before. She was apt in music and we spent many pleasant hours together at the piano. I was proud o f her, for she was a source of great comfort to all.
