William Earl Sullivan, 74, of Spartanburg, SC, died Monday, July 30, 2001 at his home.
A native of Clifton, SC, he was the son of the late Arthur Warren Sullivan and Ida Mae (Owens) Sullivan.
Retired from Spartan Mills with over 25 years of service, he was a veteran of the US Army having served during WWII.
Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Childress Sullivan, of the home; one daughter, Dale Sullivan Gordon of Marion, SC; on son, Joseph Daniel Sullivan of Spartanburg; one sister, Doris S. Burrell of Columbia, SC; three brothers, Elbert Sullivan of Startex, SC, Wilburn Sullivan of Clifton, SC and John Sullivan of Columbia, SC; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, William Jerry Sullivan and Darrell Keith Sullivan and a sister, Ruby S. Pyne.
The family received friends 11:00 am to 12:45 pm Thursday, August 2, 2001 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel.
Graveside services followed at 1:00 pm in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens conducted by the Rev. Johnnie Bullman.
