BOONEVILLE - William Howard Barnes, 82, retired farmer, died Monday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Booneville. Services will be at 1 p.m. today at McMillan Funeral Home in Booneville with burial in Zion Rest Cemetery. He was a member of Zion Rest Church of Christ.
Barnes, the husband of Dovie H. Barnes, also leaves two daughters, Ms. Cathryn Walden of Booneville and Ms. Bobbie Hite of Hanson, Ky.; a sister, Ms. Eva Ray Pounds of New Site; a brother, Delmas Barnes of Booneville, seven grandchildren and 10 great- grandchildren.
Preceded in death by daughter, Bonnie Sue Barnes Jumper.
