BOONEVILLE - Era Lee Jones Floyd, 83, died Wednesday, June 11, 1997, at the North Mississippi Medical Center after a long illness. She was a homemaker and a member of Little Creek Baptist Church.

Services will be at 3 p.m. today at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Terry Paul Graham officiating, Burial will be in Zion Rest Cemetery.

Survivors include one daughter, Vonciel Pharr, and her husband, Milton, of Booneville; one daughter-in-law, Eloise Caldwell Floyd of Booneville; one sister, Olene Johnson of Booneville; one brother, Clovis Jones of Booneville; three grandchildren, Randy Floyd and his wife, Wanda, and Lisa Pounds and her husband, Michael, all of Booneville, and Jeff Floyd and his wife, Michelle, of Marietta; four great-grandchildren, Brandy Holley of New Albany, and Misty Hope Lindsey and her husband, Shane, Laci Pounds and Blake Pounds, all of Booneville; one great great-grandchild, Brittany Lindsey of Booneville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Tilman Floyd; her parents, Elisha and Clara Jones; one son, James Lee Floyd; a sister, Janice Stennett; and a brother, Hilton Jones.

Pallbearers will be Milton Floyd, Lynn Floyd, Mike Huddleston, Clyde Jones, Larry Jones, James Barron and Jamie Holcomb.
