Rebecca M. Adams, 84, of Akron, formerly of Mansfield, died Wednesday at the Sleigh Bell Nursing Home in Canfield after a long illness. She was born oct. 12, 1896, in S. Clairsville, OH., and had lived in Mansfield 40 years prior to moving to Akron.
Mrs. Adams was employed at Swan Cleaners in Mansfield for 25 years. She was a member of the Central United Methodist Church in Mansfield, the Senior Christian Fellowship Church of the the Good Shepherd of Akron and Blue Star Mothers.
Survived by two sons, Hobart W. of Akron and the Rev. Don R. of Elyria; three grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Friday at Mansfield Memorial Park.
