Alex Maze, who was so severely burned with gasoline over a week ago, died early Monday morning after having suffered from the burns for more than a week.

Mr. Maze was born in Stockton on January 1, 1885, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Maze. He was married to Bessie McKendrick in August, 1907, who with two daughters, Leone aged six years and Hazel age ten months, survive him. He is also survived by his mother, two brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services were held Thursday morning at 11:30 o’clock at Stockton.
