He married Mildred Nordman July 20, 1954 in Albert, they were divorced.
He served in the Army during the Korean He had farmed near Olmitz and was owner and operator of Burgerteris Restaurant and the Fyler Trailer and Mobile Home both of Larned before moving to Blanchard four years
Survivors include a son Ronald Olmitz two daughters; Karen Frick and Diana Doer both of Larned a brother Kenneth Fyler of Scott City three sisters; Doris Jackson of Pikesdille, Tennessee, Beverly Sleitz of Elkart Kansas, and Joyce Buhbok of Canoga Park, California, and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother William Fyler.
