Buildings he designed are as follows, Science Hall at Central College, Fayette, MO, Scarritt Bible and Training School, W J Smith warehouse, Thayer building. His firm is responsible for the Museum at Kansas University Cupples dormitory, Central college, Fowler shops, Postal Telegraph building, W J Smith plant and Riverside power-house, and others to many to mention. He was ranked as one of the great architects of the country.
Miss Lora Bullene became his wife in 1891.
