Sara Sue Woodall was born June 18, 1919 in Seymour, Texas to Sam Hall and Mabel St. Claire Hall.
She lived in Goree, Texas for many years where she worked as a postal clerk until her retirement in 1980. She moved from Goree to Seymour in 1979.
Sue and Robert Woodall were married in 1980. He preceded her death in 1986.
She was also preceded in death by a son, David Alan Bates in 1973 and a brother, Quince Hall.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Seymour Hospital Auxiliary.
