FIFE, 93, of 333 Thompsonville Road, McMurray, died at 10:20 a.m., Monday, March 18, 1968, in Washington Hospital, where he was admitted Sunday, March 17. He had not been in his usual health for the past three years and was seriously ill for six weeks. Mr. Fife was born Nov. 3, 1874, in Peters Township, a son of JAMES and HARRIETT GILESPIE FIFE. He was a lifelong resident of the McMurray area and operated a farm until his retirement in 1964. He was the oldest member of Center Presbyterian Church, which he joined May 22, 1896. He was a member of Peters Township Grange No. 2025. He was married June 20, 1901, to ANNA ELIZABETH ROACH, who died April 4, 1943. Surviving are one son, THOMAS BOYD FIFE, McMurray; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
