An Army veteran of World War II, he was a photographer who was awarded the Purple Heart.
Born in New Brunswick, Mr. Brill lived in Colonia since 1955.
Surviving are Vivian, his wife of 55 years; a son, Robert Jr.; daughters, Mrs. Debbie Prater, Mrs. Diane Reid and Mrs. Donna Morgan; a brother, Joseph; sisters, Marie and Elizabeth Brill, and two grandchildren.
