Robert Wayne Davis Jr., 37, passed away on May 2, 1999, in his home.

Wayne was a resident of the Tidewater area for most of his life. He was a veteran with the Air Force. He had worked for Hitt Electrical for 14 years and recently was self-employed. He was predeceased by his sister, Deborah Lynn Lumpkins. He was a loving husband, son, brother and friend who will be deeply missed.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Sue Davis; his mother, Thelma Lee; his stepfather, Hilton Lee; a sister, Carol Craig and her husband, Raymond; a stepbrother, the Rev. Clifford Lee; a niece, Michelle Craig; and two nephews, Ronald Stover and Shane Lumpkins.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in Kellum Funeral Home, Rosewood Chapel. A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at Rosewood Memorial Park by his stepbrother, the Rev. Clifford Lee.
