HOLLY CREEK CITIZEN DIED ON OCTOBER 20TH.

John C. Lawler, a prominent citizen of the Holly Creek neighborhood, died Monday, October 20th at the age of 68 years. Mr. Lawler is survived by a wife and eleven children, as follows: Mrs. W.C. Roberts and Mrs. Robert
Maddry, Idabel; Mrs. J.F. Sonlette, Bastrop, La; Mrs. R.M. English, Mrs. Katie Rogers and Mrs. W.E. Fletcher, Houston, Texas, and Mrs. J.D. Roberts, Center, Miss; H.B., P.A., and A.J. Lawler, Holly Creek and John R. Lawler, Dallas, Texas.

Mr. Lawler has been a citizen of this county for the past twelve years and was well known. He was honest and was held in high esteem by all who knew him.

The remains were laid to rest in Holly Creek cemetery Tuesday, October 21st in the presence of a large circle of friends and relatives. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. W.W. Starnes, of Idabel.
