His body was found unresponsive by Officer Bruns of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department in his automobile on October 28, 1976, in Las Vegas, Nevada with no identification present. He was transported to Southern Nevada Memorial Hospital via Mercy Ambulance as a John Doe.
He was cremated at the Palm Crematory in Las Vegas, Nevada, on November 23, 1976. His ashes were scattered over the Pacific Ocean.
He was survived by his parents, and siblings Diana Hubbard Horwich, Suzette Hubbard White, Arthur Hubbard, half-sisters Alexis Valerie Hubbard Connolly and Catherine May Gillespie, and half-brother Ronald DeWolf.
