L.G. is the son of John Gilbert and Arizona Todd James. He was raised in Oklahoma along with a brother and 2 sisters. They are:

John Lonnie James 1935 – 1986
Joyce Marie James 1938 –
Geraldine James 1940 – 2005

L.G. served his country in the Army then on 25 Sep 1950, he married Norma Jean Crenshaw in Sevier Co., Arkansas. They lived for a while in Broken Bow, OK but soon moved to Salinas, CA. His work would later take them to Myrtle Creek, OR but they would eventually come back home to McCurtain Co., OK.

Norma preceded him in death by almost 3 years. They are laid to rest next to each other and near other family members. He is my 1st cousin, 1X removed.
