Mrs. Nelda Ann (Bedgood) Franks, age 70 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2012.
Born Tuesday, January 20, 1942 in Goldonna, Louisiana, she was a retired Certified Nurses Aide.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Willis H. Franks; Parents, Oliver Chester Bedgood and Betty Lee Bedgood; Sister, Leuna Wall; Brothers, Louis Bedgood and Ralph Bedgood.
Those left to cherish her memory include her Daughters, Sondra Franks of Winnfield and Delores Johnson and husband Keith of Dodson; Sons, Eugene Franks and wife Tammie of Sikes and Greg Franks and fiancee Lynn of Mountain View, MO; Siblings, Louella Maines, Jerry Bedgood, Elmer Bedgood and Jimmy Bedgood; 10 Grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield on Sunday, September 16 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM , and again on Monday from 12:00 Noon until time of services.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, September 17, 2012 in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Bill Moore and Steve Palmer officiating. Interment will follow in New Jerusalem Cemetery, in Winnfield.
Serving the family as pallbearers will be Adam Franks, Justin Franks, Matthew Franks, Tyler Garrett, Eddie Gage, Shannon Blake, Dustin Franks (Hon.), Craig Franks (Hon.)
