Agnes T. Butkovich, formerly of North Huntingdon, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 12 2012, in San Diego, Calif. Her incredible strength, courage, spirit and perseverance were remarkable while for the past 12 years battling colon cancer. She was employed at numerous Westinghouse Facilities and Restaurants in the area before moving west in 1986. While living in California, she was employed for 20 years by the Stadium Authority. Agnes was a former member of the Church of the Immaculate Conception. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Louise Grdijan; a brother, John Grdijan; and sisters, Katherine Perkins, Elizabeth Bruno and Martha Deragowski. Surviving are a son, Gary A. Butkovich and his wife, Cathryn, of North Huntingdon; a daughter, Linda Watts, of San Diego, Calif.; two grandsons, Wesley and JohnPaul Butkovich, both of North Huntingdon; a sister, Mary Montini, of Herminie; a brother, Richard Grdijan, of Elyria, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012, at Westmoreland County Memorial Park Greensburg. Entrusted with the arrangements is the JOSEPH F. OTT FUNERAL HOME INC.
