Betty Campbell Purvis, 73, of Denham Springs, passed away Monday, Dec. 13, 2010, at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice. She was a native of Bude, Miss. Visitation at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Wednesday, Dec. 15, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation will resume at Seale Funeral Home on Thursday, Dec. 16, from noon until service at 2 p.m., officiated by the Rev. Terry Booth. Burial in Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Raymond R. Purvis; sons, James R. Purvis and wife Carolyn J. Purvis, and Randall E. Purvis and wife Shannon S. Purvis; sister, May E. Campbell; brothers, James M. Campbell and wife Doris D. Campbell; grandchildren, Leigh Anne Purvis Baker and husband Cody M. Baker, Katie Lynne Purvis, Brittany E. Purvis, Brandi E. Purvis and Brandon E. Purvis; and great-grandson, Allen Michael Culver. She was preceded in death by her parents, Millard F. and Mittye L.
