Samuel Bennett
Samuel Otto Bennett, son of John L. and Elizabeth Ann Bennett, was
born Nov. 13, 1873, in Birmingham, Schuyler County, Illinois, and departed tis life at his home near Macon February 15, 1932, at the age of 58 years, 3 months,and 2 days.
He was united in marriage with Mary Ellen Hays in November, 1897. to this union were born four girls and one boy, all of whom, together with the wife, survive him. The children are:
Miss Mrs Mabel Towles of Cairo;
Miss Mamie Bennett of Kirksville;
Ralph of the home;
Mrs. Myrtle James of Shennendoah,Iowa,
and
Velma of the home.
In early young manhood Mr. Bennett was confirmed in the Catholic church.
Besides his children and wife he is survived by three brothers John M. of Macon; Edgar, address unknown and Homer of Mt. Clemens Mich.
The funeral was conducted by Rev. O. L. Angel at the Stephens-Goodding funeral Home Wednesday.
February 17 , and interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Otto Bennett Dies
Otto Bennett, 58 years a resident of Narrouws Township, passed away suddenly monday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at his home, seven and one half miles south west of Macon.
Mr. Bennett was 58 years old.

Mr Bennett was a progressive citizen and always ready to do his part in aiding the community. For the past three years he has served as a member of the board of the Winkler School.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the Stephens and Gooding funeral Home
conducted by Rev. O.L. Angel Paster of the first Christian Church Burial will be made in Woodlawn Cemetery,
