Graveside services with Military Honors for Mr. Sidney Robert Peeples will be held Sunday, September 16, 2012 at 4:00 PM in the Brazell Cemetery in Kingsland, GA.
Mr. Peeples died Friday, September 14, 2012 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Dublin.
Mr. Peeples, 76, was the son of the late John A. and Mildred Barbar Peeples. He was born in Kingsland, GA, was a resident of Jacksonville, FL for 24 years and had lived in Soperton for the past 32 years. He was retired from the US Army after 21 years of duty and was a Baptist.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie & Anthony O'Glin of Soperton; five brothers and sisters-in-law, Jay (Sylvia) Peeples, Tommy Peeples, Wayne (Jane) Peeples, all of Jacksonville, FL, Ray (Sharon) Peeples of Soperton and Larry Peeples of Jacksonville, FL; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Jule Barrett of Hollywood, FL, Susan (Terry) Acosta of Lake City, FL, Elaine Starling of Mary Etta, FL and Sharon (Pete) Mullin of Jacksonville, FL; two grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held Saturday night from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
