Robert C. Saylor, 75, Somerset, died Jan. 28, 1988, at Somerset Community Hospital. Born April 8, 1912, in Quemahoning Township, son of the late Lemon and Fannie (Blough) Saylor. Preceded in death by brother, Freeman, and two sisters, Emma Salla and Edith Saylor. Survived by his wife, the former Viola M. Zimmerman; sons: D. Wayne Leasure, Edgemore, S.C.; and Jeffrey A. Saylor, Central City RD 1; and four grandchildren: Eric, Matthew, Tarah and Jesse Leasure. Brother of: Miss Ella Saylor, Reading, Pa.; Mrs. Edna Yoder, Johnstown; and Paul, Johnstown RD 4. Retired from Penn Furniture Co. after 39 years service. Member of First United Methodist Church and F.O.E. Aerie No. 1801. Friends received 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where services will be held 1 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Arthur Gotjen officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. Family suggests contributions to the First United Methodist Church or to the American Lung Assoc.
