Obituary for Wanda LaVerne Parks
Wanda LaVerne Parks, Chandler, Oklahoma, resident, formerly of Monterey Park, California, was born September 25, 1928, in Chandler, and departed this life February 11, 2016, at her home at the age of 87 years.

Wanda was the daughter of John Luther and Jessie Doris (Henderson) Earp. She married Samuel Parks. Wanda taught school for a short time at Agra, Oklahoma, then moved to California, living there for over 50 years.

Her parents, husband, and one son, Brett Parks preceded Wanda in death.

Survivors include, two sisters, Donna Moore of Jones, Oklahoma, and Aileen Henderson of Chandler, Oklahoma; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; other relatives and many friends.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 13, 2016, at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler, with Glen Moore, and Gene Moore officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
