Flossie was born near West Hope, Henry County, Ohio. She was united in marriage on October 29, 1913 to John Wesley Folk. She was converted in January of 1928 at The Salvation Army and became a soldier February 2, 1928. She was a faithful worker in the Army and forgetting herself, always ready to help those in need. She spent most of her time caring for the sick in her community.
