SAMUEL C. ALLISON
A physician's examination late yesterday afternoon definitely determined heart trouble as the cause of death of Samuel C. Allison, 208 Logan avenue, proprietor of Sam's auto shop, 510 Mulberry street, who was found dead in the rear seat of his automobile in his garage.
Firemen used a pulmotor without avail.
Mr. Allison was born Oct. 29, 1883, at Independence and lived there three years before moving to Lamont, la., where he grew to manhood. He came to Waterloo 12 years ago and was employed for several years as mechanic in the Overland and other garages. He started his own shop last spring.
On March 12, 1911, he married Miss Alice L. Bond, of Lamont, here.
He was a member of Walnut Street Baptist church.
Surviving besides his wife are one son, Adren, at home; his mother, Mrs. E. H. Sampson, Clear Lake, la., and one brother, A. H. Allison, Lamont, la.
The body is at the O'Keefe & Towne mortuary pending funeral arrangements.
