Former Residents Critically Hurt In Binger Wreck
Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Haddock, Canyon, Texas, former Carnegie residents, are in critical condition at University hospital, Oklahoma City, suffering from injuries sustained in a head-on collision west of Binger last Wednesday afternoon, which resulted in the death of two others.
Walter Weber, 64, Clinton, and his wife, Tillie, 62, died at the scene of the accident, Trooper Doyle Mills, Oklahoma Highway patrol, said.
The cars smashed together almost head-on, Mills said. Weber was traveling westward at the time of the accident. Haddock was traveling east. Trooper Mills said Haddock ran off the road on a curve a mile west of Binger and cut back onto the highway crossing the center line. The vehicles hit after the Haddock car crossed the center line. The care were totally demolished.
