Connie attended District 5 "Dog Town" school through the 8th grade, graduating from St. Edward High School with the Class of 1961.
On October 7, 1961, she married James "Jim" W. Thomazin at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Genoa , NE. Together they raised three children, Jamie, Nitha and Heidi in St. Edward. Over the years, Connie worked as a Para-professional at St. Edward Public Schools for 20 years and later worked for Sentinel Buildings, selling steel and pole barn buildings. She then started her own company, "Quality Plus", of which she sold buildings throughout the United States.
Connie was a lifetime member of the Presbyterian Church in St. Edward and a member of the St. Edward Chapter of the Modern Woodmen. She enjoyed her grandkids, traveling, gardening, planning family reunions and playing cards and taking trips to the Casino.
Connie is survived by: Children: Jamie Thomazin and Gwen of Slayton, MN.; Nitha and James Beeck of Lincoln, NE.; Heidi and Joe Osantowski of St. Edward, NE.; 10 grandchildren: Casey and Cody Thomazin; Jesse, Sally, Molly, and Rosie Beeck; Joshua, Jason, Jeremy, and Hailey Osantowski; 6 step-grandchildren: Chris and Jerrika Wieneke; Amy (Jason) Brancs; Christopher (Melissa) Beeck, Kati (Jim) Yelkins, and Sara Beeck; 6 step great-grandchildren; siblings: Frank and Terri Jasa of St. Edward, NE.; Peggy Ferris of Chico, CA.; Marianne Raitt of Columbus, NE.; Daryl and Mary Lou Raitt of Hartsburg, MO.; Bob and Mary Alice Raitt of Columbus, NE.; brothers and sisters-in-law: Patrick and Candy Thomazin of Lincoln, NE.; Joan Steinmann of Salt Lake City, UT.; Patricia Thomazin of Shelby, NE. along with many nieces, nephews.
She was preceded in death by: parents, Frank and Mayme Jasa; Jim Thomazin; father and mother-in-law Glenn & Cecilia Thomazin; brothers and sisters-in-law; Bill and Sheila Raitt and Duane and Mary Louise Raitt; Brothers-in-law: Nick Thomazin and Frank Steinmann; Niece Sonja Raitt-Ogden.
Interment was in the Evergreen Cemetery, St. Edward, NE.
