Mr. B. F. Calentine died Tuesday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Banfield, a son-in-law and daughter at Sand Ridge, at the age of 70 years, following a several weeks illness. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10:30 o'clock from the Church of Christ at Chauncey and burial will be in the West Union street cemetery in Athens.
Mr. Calentine underwent a surgical operation several weeks ago from which he never fully recovered. He is survived by his one daughter, Mrs. Banfield and two grandchildren. His wife died about two years ago.
