Elvin "Ebb" Hubbs ,age of Clinton passed away Tuesday,September 7,2004 at his home.He was born on march 7,1918,n Benton county the son of Harley and Sally Cochran Hubbs.He grew up in Benton county and graduted from Warsaw High School in 1937.On February 4,1939 he was united in marriage to Fyrn Halley in Clinton.they lived in Benton county where Eb mostly farmed.They moved to their farm near Clinton in 1957.In addition to farming,he worked some construction and drove a school bus.He was member of northeast Baptist church in clinton and served in many positions there until his health failed him.He was also active in the National Farmers organization.He was preceded in death by his parents and one siter heida martin.He is survived by hid wife of sixty-five years,fyrn of the home,one son Kelly and his wife carolyn,one grand-daughter,Dena Gray,and her husband Chris,all of Clinton,two brothers,Jack of kansas city,Clayton of Massachusetts,two sisters,Nina powell,of Warsaw,and Freda Ranspot,of Springfield,other relatives and many fiends.
