Funeral services for Aubrey A. Hester of Magee were held Saturday afternoon from the Mims Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mel Craft officiating. Interment was in the Magee cemetery with Mims Mitchell Funeral Home in charge.

Mr. Hester, 82 years old, died last Thursday at Magee General Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was a retired farmer and a member of the First Baptist Church of Magee.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Roxie Hester of Magee; two daughters, Miss Edith Hester of New Orleans, La., and Mrs. Pauline Nicholson of Pensacola, Fla.; three sons Felton Hester of Atlanta, Ga., Lamar Hester of Meridian and Harold Hester of Washington, D.C.; one brother, Joseph Hester of Taylorsville; one sister, Mrs. Bertha Duckworth of Ellisville; and 13 grandchildren.
