"Jack" was the younger of two sons (brother, Howard H.) born to Emil John & May H. (Helmke) Fisher. "Jack" lived with his family in Oakland until the start of WW-II.
After completing college; on 30 September 1942, "Jack" enlisted as a private in the US Army at San Francisco — honorably serving through the remainder of the war.
On 22 June 1952, "Jack" married Clara Ann Braun on the island nation of Bahrain near Saudi Arabia; she was age 26, he was 36. Jack & Clara honeymooned in Nairobi, Kenya – just before the beginning of the Mau Mau Uprising.
Until he retired, "Jack" was an accountant for Standard Oil and ARAMCO; he died of heart failure on 2 December 2001 in Desert Hot Springs, CA at age 86
