After a lingering illness of several months, Mrs. Irene Corkran, widow of the late Nathan J. Corkran, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Edward M. Willey, at Hobbs, on Sunday, July 16th, aged about 85 years. She was the daughter of the late Isaiah C. Blades, who in his day, was one of Caroline's best businessmen. Mrs. Corkran leaves to mourn her loss four children, ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
In early life she united with the M.P. Church, at Grove, of which she was a consistent member all her active life. Interment at Concord.
